I love working with children. I believe that all child can learn. Some may need different way or even different materials to find academic success. I have a degree in Math and I am currently 3/4 complete for a Masters in Elem. Education w/Certif. I have been a substitute teacher for 2 years, w/1 long term sub teaching position of 3 mos at the elem level, and 1 long term sub position of 6 wks at the high school level in Algebra, Geometry, and Advanced Geometry. I have 4 children who have all taken advanced Mathematics classes, with my occasional assistance. I spent almost 30 years writing and managing government technical proposals for the computer industry. I also spent time tutoring two children at the third and sixth grade levels. A Little Bit About Me...

In high school I was able to tutor students in all subjects ranging from English to Math to Musical Studies. Furthering my education at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX really opened my eyes and mind to wider ranges of educational foundations. As a double major in Communication and Classical Studies, I was able to get a well rounded education in all subjects. I feel that I am also skilled in math and got a minor in Art History.
