MATH tutor - Experienced math teacher, grades 7-12 & college

I am a very energetic teacher, and I try to incorporate as much FUN into learning as I can. I believe ANY student can learn mathematics, as long as they are patient with themselves and are willing to keep trying. I like to use a wide variety of things, especially technology (graphing calculator), graphics, videos, and hands-on activities whenever I can.
I have 8 years experience teaching high school mathematics in Rutherford County, TN. I taught Pre-Calculus (3 years), Algebra I (6 years), Algebra II (3 years), Geometry (2 years), Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry (2 years), and Bridge Math (1 year). A Little Bit About Me...

I was at the ITT Nashville and Draughons College campuses for 9+ years and School Chair of the CAD/MM department at ITT for 3 of those years. I have taught multiple subjects during my tenure including almost all of the classes in GenEd and in math, physics, calculus. I am currently pursuing my Master's of Science at UTMartin in MSEd in Theory and Practice and finish next year. My 15+ years in engineering, B.S. in Physics, qualifies me. My experience ranges a great deal and encompasses a lot of subject matter from K-12 Math to English and Literature. My wide range of expertise is indicative of my schooling where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications that exposed me to the Liberal Arts world; while my minor in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Master of Science degree in Information Technology exposed me to more technical subject matter (i.e. various levels of Math).
