I love teaching, coaching and mentoring children. My pleasure derives from your child’s success at school or in their lives. I have tutored children at several levels, with varying degrees of leaning capacities. I teach them techniques to learn, remember, apply the knowledge and take different types of tests/quizzes. I spend considerable amount of time in learning students’ educational background and preparing myself to teach such that tutoring does not feel a burden to a kid, and kids show more interest in learning and absorbing relative subject matters. A Little Bit About Me...

I began teaching as a college sophomore at MIT. For 9 years, I taught primarily Multivariable Calculus, but also single-variable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and several writing courses. Since graduating, I have been involved in various volunteer tutoring efforts. My minors are in Math, German, and Writing. I happen to be a black female, the first to earn bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in Mechanical Engineering at MIT. I am happy to work with anyone, but I might be a particularly meaningful match for a minority or female student. In addition to tutoring, I would hope to serve as a "can-do" example for someone who might not have dared to dream big enough.
