A Little Bit About Me...

I have a positive and patient way of getting through to students. Science was my favorite subject matter in college and I like to break down difficult information into terms that are easier to understand and follow. For example, I like to break down scientific terms by their roots. In doing so, my students not only remember what the terms mean for that class but can also apply that knowledge in future class work. I also believe in using reinforcement techniques such as repetition, writing, and regular revision/quizzing of the subject matter so that this not only keeps the information fresh but also make it easier to build on that information further.

As a Williams Baptist graduate, I have earned a bachelor degree of Science in Biology. This has given me the opportunity to gain knowledge in many areas of science. Also, due to the fact that Williams Baptist College is a liberal arts college, I have gained experience in other areas that have polished my writing skills.
