A Little Bit About Me...

I was a teaching assistant at North Georgia College and State University for three years. I assisted with laboratory sections of biology courses and taught them in the event of a professors absence. I provided department funded tutoring services during that time as well. I have taken the GRE and Biology Section of the GRE and received excellent scores on both tests in only one sitting. I have also coached 4H horse quiz bowl and horse judging teams for several years working with elementary and middle school age children.

My comments on tutoring Poetry : One of my poems got published. I continue to write many more.

I am very energetic, extremely patient, but I also will not accept back talking, lying, texting on your phone, or any inappropriate behavior while I am working as your teacher. I am always available to help you, I only want to see my students learn, achieve and succeed in their academics, while helping them stay focused and love learning what I teach them by making learning fun for them!
I am currently a student at the university of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I am majoring in early childhood education with a minor in speech pathology. I am working full time as the head aftercare teacher at hickory valley Christian school where I work with elementary school children. I love children and love teaching anyone to do anything. I enjoy cooking, sewing and gardening and therefore am well able to help your child find academic success in a variety of subjects. I am a firm believer that a student learns by discovering what works for him/her. Every learner has a different learning style and I am prepared to be there for that student and to help them discover the best and most proficient way of accomplishing that learning goal.
The last ten years of my teaching career, I taught Adult Basic Education at Orange Grove Center in Chattanooga, TN, English as a Second Language as well as some GED prep classes for Chattanooga State Techinical Community College. Growing up, English was always my favorite and best subject. I have also been out of our country(S. Korea) teaching English.
