Took AP BC Calc and made a 5 on the exam, had a great teacher, understand all highschool, and college level math below calc 2. Can also help with AutoCad drawings and other types of engineering drawings such as hand drafting. Good at proof-reading papers if that needs to be done. But all around I just like math and science. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a good experience of tutoring hundreds of students over a decade period of time. I have tutored from first grade student to bachelors' degree students. I have formally taught students from grades four to ten for six months as a science teacher. Recently, I helped my wife in Anatomy and Physiology I and II and Lab and College Algebra. She got straight A's in them upgrading her GPA. I believe patience is key when teaching difficult concepts. I also strive to present ideas from varied perspectives. For example, many mathematical constructions can be understood either geometrically, algebraically, or analytically. If a student has trouble with one type of explanation, presenting an alternative technique often leads to a deeper understanding of the material.

I own my own science consulting firm and like to dedicate a certain percentage of my time to education and public outreach projects including teaching, mentoring, and tutoring. I have taught high school and college students on and off since 1986 and have had several students go on to VERY successful careers, perhaps one of the best ways to evaluate ones ability as a teacher. My most recent success (2006-07) was a 7th grade C and B student who had straight A's after only two months of working together and finished 7th grade with straight A's. A Little Bit About Me...

I achieved an AA degree at Florida Community College at Jacksonville. I am currently continuing my education at Florida State University where I am pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Biology. I will graduate in Spring of 2010. After, I will continue to Dental School to become a dentist.
I enjoy teach with all different age levels. Most recently, I taught 4th grade science through the FSU Teach Program. It was fun and really showed me how to teach students and make the lessons engaging and fun. Its important to keep the child focused.
