I have worked with the following populations throughout the many years of professional experience: mental health patients - (children & adults), special needs, developmentally disabled, people with learning disabilities, those with ADD/ADHD, Children, Adolescents, and Adults of varying ages and skill sets. I know some sign language so I am able to communicate with others who have little to no hearing. I have worked within the schools and have experience aiding students. A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children of all ages. I really like elementary age children. I have a hands-on approach to education. I want kids to get their hands into activities so that they may retain things longer. Now I do realize that not every student is hands-on. That is the responsibility of a teacher or tutor to find out what works for each student and set the envioronment for each learning experience.
I taught public school for 4 years before getting a masters degree in Religious Education with a Concentration in Childhood Education. I am very patient, caring, and supportive. If a child is struggling to master certain objective, then it is my responsibility to provide all avenues to ensure success. There is no "u" in team.
