Experienced math tutor

I believe that all students can learn with a patient tutor. Many of my students find math frustrating but I have the ability to break all concepts down to the most basic elements and build from there. I have spent my 13 years as an educator in a variety of capacities. I spent four years as a tutor for an autistic child while I was in school. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in education, I worked for three years as the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade alternative school teacher for the Chandler Unified School District. I then student taught in Mesa Arizona followed by teaching 3rd grade in Mesa as well. I taught full time for one year and shared a teaching contract with another teacher for the second year.I also lead numerous programs through the parks and recreation here in Arizona.
