If anyone is looking for a tutor, I would be willing to help. I'm a senior in college studying math and physics. I got a 35 on the math portion of my ACT. I have multiple undergraduate research experiences in mathematics. Both of those research projects have been presented at math conferences. One has been published and the other publication is in progress. I have gotten an A every Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, and Logic course I have taken in college. In high school I was a 4 year veteran in scholastic bowl. I also did math team for 4 years and qualified for state three times. I've been informally teaching for around 7 years, starting with private percussion lessons and high school drumline instruction and most recently tutoring through the Migrant Education Program in the subject areas of English as a Second Language, math, science, and Spanish. I am a current Geography Teacher Education student at Illinois State University minoring in Spanish. I will receive my license after completing my student teaching requirement in the spring of 2015.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a recreation major, I have held a number of jobs working with children of all ages. My first job as a lifeguard and swim instructor helped me understand how to work with children ages three to fifteen and really get a feel for how their brains operate and the proper learning styles to use for each age.
