A Little Bit About Me...

Tutoring is one of the most challenging, but rewarding, endeavors that I have undertaken. Each student has a unique learning style; as a tutor, I must determine which style the student favors and then modify the subject matter in a way most suited to the student’s understanding. It is my firm belief that, given enough dedication and the proper teacher, every student is capable of learning. As a tutor, I focus on conceptual understanding behind the problem. A well-taught student should be able to do a problem on a test that he or she has never seen before, so long as the concept is similar to something previously shown. My goal as a tutor is to get to the point where the student has achieved this level of comprehension.

A Little Bit About Me...

Having a young child myself, I know the importance of education and how parents want to do the very best for their children. My goal as a teacher is to make each student a success. So, I not only want them to succeed, it is my personal expectation.
I have a strong ability in teaching several subjects. I have earned a bachelor degree, BS in Mechanical Engineering, and I have earned a Masters degree, MS in Industrial Engineering / Technical Management. I have taught/tutored to professionals and college students in all levels of Mathematics. I taught statistics for over 2 years, globally, for my current employer.
