I make sure that when I teach, I prep each lesson for that individual person. No one learning plan can teach every single person, so I hand-tailor things for each student.
I have been tutoring and teaching since my Sophomore year in high school. At that time I was teaching English as a second language to a few foreigners who were visiting my school. I like to make teaching fun. I pride myself on my ability to add fun through puzzles, arts and crafts, etc. and teach all at the same time. It is so rewarding when a child you are working with accomplishes what they may have though to be the impossible.
