I teach up to the intermediate level (students with 2 years or less experience) I am a professional opera/choral singer and I perform regularly with companies including Seattle Opera, Bellevue City Opera, Northwest Opera in Schools, Etc, and Tacoma Opera. I have also attended musical festival including Utah Festival Opera, Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, and Vancouver International Art Song Institute. I have been teaching for ten years, and work with a variety of ages, skill levels, and musical interests. I am very detail oriented and always look for improvement with my students; however, I believe music should be fun and engaging. I got my BA in linguistics from the University of Washington, and earned an MLitt and PhD in English language from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
