I use a variety of teaching methods when working with students. Every students brings their own set of skills and knowledge. It is my job to take them and make them better. I have been a physics and mathematics tutor for my fellow students at the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Ontario. Also, I served as a physics T.A. at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before I transferred to Waterloo. Finally, I was a substitute teacher for two years at Belmont Middle School and Belmont High School, in Belmont, New Hampshire.
My teaching style is simple but effective. With mathematics and physics, the student retains an idea, with the added benefit of a solid intuition if he or she is fortunate enough to work through a problem using his or her's own insights. A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent college graduate, I received a dual degree in Electrical/Computer & Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. During my time there, I was a teaching assistant for Calculus I for two years. This job included conducting one hour classes 2-4 times a week to review and master basic skills needed to accomplish the course successfully. I also spent time weekly working one-on-one with students to teach concepts and review topics. I consider myself capable of helping students in any level of math up to this level and thoroughly enjoy it!
I am a firm believer that each student learns differently and the best way to teach is to find out what their style of learning is. I am a patient teacher, who works hard to find the learning style that will offer the best success for the student.
