I have enjoyed teaching children since an early age. In high school, I started my own dance studio. I also began piano lessons in my home as well. During college i studied piano, voice and dance and continued teaching in these areas. I love helping others succeed and seeing them accomplish their goals.

I love talking to students. I endeavor to let each student know that I care and am willing to go the extra mile to help he, or she, "get it"! I want to "connect". I have a terrific sense of humor, and try to keep my students smiling. I think we learn more, through laughter. I try to keep everyone relaxed. I try to keep everything real. I have been a substitute teacher for the past two years covering all grade levels from pre-k three up to senior year in high school. I am a Master's Degree candidate in Elementary Education at Wilmington University. I enjoy students at every level and am amazed at what a difference a year makes in their development. Previously, I worked as a copywriter and I spent a lot of years writing and editing. I really enjoy the one-on-one or small group approach to teaching, which is why tutoring is so appealing to me.
