My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : Trigonometry is extremely important in the applied mathematical fields such as engineering and physics. So through my own study I have become proficient with trig functions.

I am a Mechanical Engineering and Geology dual major with a 3.6 GPA. I understand mathematics very well and have tutored fellow students in math and physics, successfully for years. I have a passion for learning and love when I can help others learn complex material and pass classes. The Friendly Math Guy Next Door

Turning your weakness into your strength

I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.
I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, from Geometry through Calculus III, from general computer knowledge through utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Access. Trigonometry is one of my top subjects!

I did my bachelor's in CIVIL Engineering in India.After my bachelor's I worked as an Assistant civil engineer for residential projects. During my bachelor's, I took mathematics classes for students in my community till tenth grade. I taught for around 20 students during the first two years of my bachelor's.

During the 2007-2008 school-year, at Warren Central High School, in Bowling Green, KY, I was a math tutor. I tutored students getting ready to take there ACT and SAT. I worked with a wide variety of students from different races to students who first language was not English.
