A Little Bit About Me...

I served four years of active duty in the United State Marine Corps. I have mentor and lead Marines on a daily basis to ensure their safety and well being. Teaching them their job skills and ensuring that each individual conduct themselves as a Marine. I have acquired electronics/electrical skills in troubleshooting and repairing. These skills required an extensive math knowledge. While serving in the Marine Corps, I worked on my BS in Electronic System Technology and completed this degree in December of 2009.
I enjoy teaching and mentoring children to adults. I feel a sense of accomplishment when the individual have benefited from my help. I am patient, and considerate. I approach each individuals with the goal of providing them with the best of my abilities for them to learn and succeed.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with minors in African American Studies and Sociology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. While studying at UNCC, composing papers on a variety of subjects enhanced my grammar and sentence structure. Being a Lead teacher at Dixon Academy, supplied me with experience in interacting with both children and their parents from diverse behavioral, cultural, and economic backgrounds. In addition, it was my goal to make sure that my students completed their homework before leaving the center.
