Recently Retired Teacher with 31 Years of Experience
I am a, recently retired teacher as of, June 2013, and have thirty one years of teaching experience, within, a variety of school settings. I am certified in elementary education, grades 1-8, hearing impaired grades k-12, and moderate to severe disabilities. My last position was at a local high school, teaching students with cognitive disabilities. I am well versed in assessment, plethora of teaching methodologies and implementation, computer skills such as, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. I can, also, create a Prezzie presentation, using a variety of digital media. I possess good communication skills, including sign language. I establish long lasting relationships with, both, parents and students.
