My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : My grammar is just as spotty as yours, and I managed to graduate with a degree in writing. I hope to broaden your vocabulary and at least help you learn how to self correct. A skilled writer knows that their most valued tool is the eraser/backspace key because good writing requires a lot of repair and maintenance, always striving for a more perfect version of your first draft.

I try to approach client's problems on a case by case nature: they have a particularly hard to write paper or a class that just isn't working for them, and I will try to work closely with them to find solutions. I will not write a client's paper or perform any creative work for them, but I will edit or provide guidance as needed. While there are no shortcuts to an A, I will share what has worked for me and others in the real world.
I'm a recent college graduate from NC State, with a degree in Creative Writing. However, the CW course instilled in me knowledge in a variety of fields from film to philosophy, and as a requirement of modern education made me more than just fluent in the language of computers. I am a very firm believer that each human being has a different way of learning. I also believe that each subject has a different way to be taught. I teach based off of my students, as well as the subject.
I was a tutor in high school for many elementary and middle school aged children. I am also experienced with writing papers, so I can help anyone who is writing for a college application or essay. My approach is to establish a relationship with small talk and introductions. A parent must be present at all times. I excelled in grammar, art, health, and science as well. I was a teacher at a private school for a year after college before I started a family and began home schooling.
