My comments on tutoring Language Arts : 9 years experience teaching Language Arts - grades 6-12 on all levels including general through AP students.

I am an experience English, Language Arts, Writing teacher of nine years! I spent five of those years teaching middle school, grades 6-8, and another four years teaching high school level, grades 9-12. Both age groups allowed me the opportunity to teach all levels and work with different learning styles.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my high school career I was frequently called upon to be a teacher's assistant. This was over fourth, fifth, and sixth graders the majority of the time. I also tutored a fellow classmate in Algebra q, chemistry and biology. I also currently have a job tutoring two sixth graders in math and english. Hands on- creative-student centered learning!

I am a certified teacher. I have taught first grade and I am currently teaching second grade. I have 2 years experience as a tutor for students in elementary school and also high school. I work hard to help students do the best they can. I look for ideas outside the box to help students learn. Along with hands on activities, I also incorporate catchy ways to remember certain objectives. I am a College Student studying English and Politics

I was a tutor in high school for many elementary and middle school aged children. I am also experienced with writing papers, so I can help anyone who is writing for a college application or essay. I am a very quick learner, so if there is a subject I am not as familiar with I am willing to study it to help a student. My goal is to help students understand the context being taught, as well as teach them the importance of this knowledge. Currently I'm a high school student at Lincoln Charter school in Denver. Ever since I started High school I've taken all honors classes, and graduated those classes with 90's and above. Right now I'm currently taking college writing class 111 and 112 in the 11th Grade. I take AP U.S. History. I enjoy reading and writing in my free time. Language, Grammar, Punctuation and Writing comes very naturally to me. Currently in my College writing class I have a 98%.
I can accommodate to what is best for your learning needs, I do not like tutoring online. Face to face is better; I like to know who I'm teaching on a personal level in order to make them comfortable when learning. Learning should be a fun process, not stressful!
