I do not have a particular style of teaching. I prefer to talk to the individual I am tutoring and together discover the best way to teach them the subject material. I believe that everyone learns information at a different pace and that some information is easier to process than other information. I believe that individuals should be comfortable while learning in order for them to actually learn. I would never force someone to learn "my way" and would work with them on developing a way that works for both of us. I would also focus on teaching proper study habits so the individuals can apply them and possibly not need a tutor in the future.

A Little Bit About Me...

Attending and graduating from Davidson College, a small liberal arts college in NC, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry was an extremely rewarding experience. I found that the college groomed their students by emphasizing analytical skills--both scientific and literary--and giving back to the community through both service and volunteerism. As a college student, I tutored students in mathematics courses up to Multivariable Calculus and chemistry students up to Organic Chemistry. I have also taught beginning Math, Reading, and SAT Preparation at a local learning center in Atlanta as well, in addition to my experience teaching and tutoring AP Chemistry as a high school teacher.

I have earned a bachelor degree in Psychology and I have started a second bachelor's degree in Forensics. I have worked with children since I was 13. I have worked in settings where I was a daycare worker, a nanny, and a substitute teacher.
