Prior to becoming an HSE Instructor, I tutored youth in a juvenile detention center. Currently, work for Dutchess Community College teaching HSE. I started working with Dutchess Community College in March of 2014 as a substitute HSE Instructor. In October of 2014, I was promoted to full-time HSE Instructor with my own classroom. My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : I took Honors Pre-Calculus in eleventh grade and received an A+ for my hard work. Performing so well in this course allowed me to skip AP Calculus AB and move straight onto AP Calculus BC the following year. These concepts were again used in AP Calculus BC, so I know them very well and can explain them effectively.

Teaching new concepts, practice applying the new material, review, and more practice of the material to solidify the concepts.
I have helped my classmates and have had one official student as of this summer. However, I have learned how to explain concepts so that students dont just memorize, they will gain a thought process and applicable knowledge that will enable them to solve even the most complex problems. Having this mentality of preparation and success will being them to reach their goals.
