My experience as a teacher has given me the opportunity to teach math, science, history, literature, reading and writing to a very diverse group of students. As a 2009 graduate of Eastern Washington University, I have teaching experience at the middle and high school. I currently hold a Washington State Teaching Certificate in Social Studies and Language Arts. While at EWU I worked as a tutor for the NCAA to keep athletes eligible to play. I have tutored students in the subjects of English, history, economics, biology and geography. I worked as a teaching assistant with credit deficient high school students in a drop-out prevention program. In this position, I worked with students to build basic academic and life skills so they could return to their home schools and successfully earn a high school diploma. I am currently a high school English and Social Studies teacher in Soap Lake, WA.
