I have been a teacher & tutor for over 10 years now, working with students of all ages, in a variety of subjects - the English language, reading comprehension, speech, writing, grammar, world history, geography, earth science, general study skills and homework completion. In my instruction I apply research-based strategies, theories, new techniques, and modern methods of instruction. I put a lot of thought and work in to creating my lesson plans. This can be seen in the detail that I provide on each plan. I pay careful consideration to connecting the lesson to the GLEs and EALRs and I summarize each lesson in great detail.
