In high school, I was the typical overachiever. I played varsity baseball, led many school organizations, and was at the top of my class. School, especially math subjects, came easy to me, but that is not the case with everyone. Therefore, I wanted to find a way to help students in these areas. During sophomore year, I was approached by high school administration to tutor students, on a one-on-one basis after school, on math subjects. It was an amazing opportunity because only four students out of the entire student body were picked for this highly-selective position. I have no teaching experience but I'm in the process of getting my State Of Georgia teaching certification though troops to teachers program sponsor by the Georgia Department of Labor. I also applied and was accepted in the Thomson Learning program teaching ESL in South Korea for one year. I was also employed part time as a GED Test Proctor though Harrisburg Area Community College.
