I am a retired and disabled veteran from the USMC. Interested in a variety of subjects and love to learn on a daily basis as well as teach others the same. I am a believer that regardless of one's age, a person can learn from both male and female and well as from older and younger generations. Having participated in a variety of business careers, I have acquired so much knowledge that I would love to pass it on. Some of those careers are finance, retail, law enforcement, sales both domestic and international, human resources, data base administration, commercial food industry (both acidified and non-acidified) and many more.

I completed an English Bachelor’s degree, with three different areas of focus, Professional Writing, Creative Writing, and Composition. I am finishing a Master’s degree in Rhetoric and Composition. Whether it is in front of a class of 40 or one-on-one, I have been endowed not only with the talent to teach, but also with the God-given ability to motivate. In my experience as a tutor, I have acquired the highly important skill of adaptability. Certainly, particular techniques and strategies such as asking provocative questions are helpful with any student of any age.
