I earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry with a minor in math. I worked for US Dept. of Agriculture as a methods development chemist which required a knowledge of chemistry, physics, math and statistics as well as high level computer skills. I have taught classes for over 15 years at Athens Area Technical College, University of Georgia Continuint Education Program and as owner and lead trainer for Athens Computer Training, Inc.
I have taught classes for students ranging from high school to adult with course material from the very basic to highly advnced concepts. I was known for covering curriculum material in a through and patient manner. My teaching style could best be described as a pyrimid approach, a firm understanding of basic principles before moving to the next level of complexity.

I love to be around children. There is no surprise I recently opened a toy store focused on classic and educational toys. I am passionate about teaching children and how to make a difference in their lives. I strongly believe that if a child can experience for him or herself how the skills he or she learns apply in real life, then it becomes an easier, and more successful experience. I will push for a dynamic and interactive class. The lesson needs to be constructive. I always give examples, and engage the child or children to practice the skill in a specific setting like role play.
