A Little Bit About Me...

I teach by asking you to do a few problems for me and after figuring out where you have trouble, I take you step-by-step and make you understand. Afterwords, I'd have you do a few practice problems and check it to make sure you and I both are confident in your abilities. There may be a few homework problems every night to refine your memory.
I personally love math and I make it my hobby. I am currently taking multivariable calculus (Calc III) and have completed Calc I, Calc II, and many other math subjects. In addition, I have received a perfect 800 on the math section of the SAT and on the Mathematics II SAT subject test. I have had over fifty hours of experience tutoring math on the spot. Students would come in at whatever time was convenient for them while I was available with varying questions from a wide array of subjects. Sessions were student-led and I worked on quickly transferring between completely different topics.
I am used to student-led teaching. The students choose the topic they feel they need the most help with. I walk him/her through an example problem or two and then he/she does a few alone. Once I feel that he/she is comfortable with the topic, I ask whether he/she would like to try any more.
