I worked as Library Assistant in the University where I earned my Accounting Degree. At first it was just a voluntary when some students needed a help especially mathematics subjects. As time went on, I became passionate about it and start coaching my friend's kids, helping them with their homework. I love doing it, it made me feel I am alive. A Little Bit About Me...

In the past five years I have had experience teaching music to children from ages five through high school. During this time I have had many different students with different needs. I have always tried to teach my students to have a strong work ethic, and to be independent learners. I like to use positive reinforcement, and I like to motivate children by having them listen to music that inspires them. As soon as it was a possibility, I integrated more advanced math courses into my schoolwork. I recently completed my BS in Mathematical Sciences at Westminster College. Since 7th grade, friends ordinarily looked to me for assistance with homework in the math subjects in which they struggled and I often excelled. In addition to helping my fellow students, I completed the high school A+ program, requiring 50 hours of unpaid tutoring. I reached this goal spending one year tutoring a 2nd grade class in their general studies and the other year with a 4th grade class. Now that I have graduated college and no longer have to focus as much on my own studies, I am ready to fully devote myself to the academics of others.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am quite fond of children and their amazing desire and ability to learn. I think that education is one of the most important aspect of a child's upbringing and any contribution that I can make would be very gratifying. I think children differ in their learning styles and I am flexible to work with children who are visual learners through diagrams, colors and charts, or with children who are learn through memorization and application.
