A Little Bit About Me...

I believe it is very important for children to learn to enjoy the process of learning. Every child learns and relates to new information differently, so teachers must use appropriate teaching strategies to ensure the success of their students. My goal is to help students to make better grades, but teach them HOW to learn where they can become independent lifelong learners.
I graduated from WKU with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and during this time I worked at an elementary school during their after school program helping tutor and supervise the children. After I graduated, I substituted for several school districts in mostly elementary grades, but I also worked in middle & high school. I am currently working half-time as a reading intervention teacher. My strongest subject is math and english.

I love teaching and helping students to grasp the basic understanding behind physics and math. Since physics and math can build on itself, it is important you understand the basics before you can proceed to advanced concepts. I believe students learn by different styles whether it be visually, audibly, written, or hands on. It's important to apply this style early. I am a very patient person.
