I enjoy teaching secondary and college mathematics courses. I find great satisfaction working with students who are struggling (I have had my own struggles). I am always eager to allow students to learn by discovery. Using real-life examples that relate to things students are interested in is a very effective way of permanently seating concepts in their minds. It also makes math a little more fun and the repetition a little more tolerable. After receiving an undergraduate degree (physics and math) and a graduate degree (teaching secondary mathematics), I taught secondary math for several years. I then returned to school (PPCC) to study Computer Aided Drafting (CAD). I eventually became the CAD instructor, as well as teaching developmental math, college algebra, and Microsoft Office. I have frequently tutored friends or their children with their math studies.

I have written a 120pg thesis entitled "Datawarehousing." I enjoy my small business "Digital Advertising" and likely have the most tutoring skills in this area. One on one works best for me...however my teaching experience was in a classroom environment utilizing mostly Powerpoint Slides
with questions and answers. I taught IT type skills "Operating Procedures" to beginning level IT support technicians. I do not hhave an official teaching certification.
