As a graduate of an excellent college (Columbia) with a major in mathematics, I feel that I am well trained for the position of mathematics tutor. I have over five years' experience with tutoring of high school and college students in various branches of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus.

I assisted both undergraduate and graduate students and community members with various essays and papers, concentrating on grammatical correctness and content development. I also worked as the Ceramics Director at Camp Au Sable Youth Camp in Grayling, MI, teaching kids, teenagers and adult campers ceramics and managing the ceramics department. I love working with kids and work as a counselor for 6th through 8th grade students at my local church. I've always had a passion to teach. Life took me down a few different paths but I've managed to find my way back to teaching. I'm looking to pursue a Masters in order to obtain a position in the fields of teaching CAD. I enjoy teaching others because I think I have a unique connection with the way some people think. I have dyslexia, but I managed to get a 3.9 in High School, a 2.98 at Michigan Tech and currently hold a 3.85 at KVCC.
