I taught high school English for three years. My students ranged from far below basic to advanced. My students consistently showed improvement in their standardized test scores and over 95% of my students passed the course. Also, Over 95% of my sophomore passed the CAHSEE. In addition to my high school experience, I have been tutoring adult learners for the past three years, becoming the program manager two years ago. I have worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for the past 8 years. I am currently attending school to become a special education teacher. Interactive modeling of examples, repetition, and simplifying subject matter are key components of my teaching style.
