I graduated in December 2014 from Iowa State University with a Civil Engineering degree- 3.5 GPA honor student. Before Iowa State I went to the University of Iowa for two years to play basketball. Prior to that I went to Des Moines Christian High School. I am currently working in Des Moines. I have a passion for teaching and have tutoring experience in college. Motivated to help struggling students find love of learning

I love to teach and coach and think it is important to understand that everyone learns and grasps concepts in different ways. I do not have a specific teaching style other than positive because each child requires their own approach.
I have over 15 semesters of college courses most in the sciences. Finding a way to explain a concept in terms each individual can understand is the challenge. I really enjoy helping students understand that they absolutely can understand a subject, and the one-on-one, focused nature of tutoring fits my personality very well.
