I try to put myself in the student's shoes and find which method of teaching can reach the student best. I try to identify the student's strengths and weaknesses and work out a program to help him or her achieve his or her goals. I also like to involve the parents or guardians as much as possible to keep them updated on the student's progress and how they can contribute to the learning process. While growing up the motto “if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right” was instilled in me. This has proven to be a motivating factor that has pushed me to excel in school and life. I realize that each individual has their own learning style, and I am flexible in motivating my students to help them excel in their own way.
