A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned my B.S. in Business Administration, studying many different courses. During my undergrad years, I was able to tutor graduate and undergraduate in their areas of weakness. These subjects included Financial Accounting, Micro and Macroeconomics, Literature, and many more. I have been able to teach them but also learn from them. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a friendly teaching style; I use a lot of sense of humor. But, this takes a lot of hard work to achieve. The reason I am able to teach French grammar in a non-intimidating, almost very relaxing way, is because I had to master it. I have a way of getting closer to my students and to their difficulties by having the ability to relate almost every chapter I introduce to my personal experiences. And, I have anecdotes almost about any new topic I present. I am a story teller in that sense. Sometime my students beg me to tell them more anecdotes. I tell them if they want to hear more stories, they have to do this, or that. And almost always agree with smiles that seem to say “you got us!”

I have been a guest speaker at Middle Schools on economics and have worked with youth as a sports coach for fifteen years. My career has been in Marketing where I have risen to the top of organizations in part due to my development of young talent to its highest potential.
As in sports coaching, I believe that an academic tutor's main goal is to put the student in a position to be successful. My approach is different for each student based on how they best learn.
