After graduating, I spent 4 years in China teaching English and training others to teach English as a Foreign Language. I also took on a number of private English tutoring jobs during those years, including several helping students prepare for the essay portion of the SAT exam. After returning to the States, I worked as a substitute teacher at the middle and high school level, filling in for whatever subject was needed.
