I scored in the 90th percentile on the National Exam for three consecutive years; in 2011, I received the highest score in the state of Texas. In 2010, I was able to travel to Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, for a six-month study abroad program, where I lived with a German family and attended school to achieve an immersive experience.
