I graduated with a Bachelor's in English from Troy University Dothan in December 2009. Since I opted for a Bachelor's in English rather than a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education, I took more writing and literature classes. In all of my English Literature classes, I had numerous writing assignments that helped me learn how to write. While an undergraduate at Colorado State, I taught various levels of chemistry laboratories for 4 semesters, which included both teaching credits and paid work. I spent one year as a graduate student at the University of Michigan in which I taught general chemistry recitation and a laboratory section.
