My comments on tutoring Sculpting : I've worked with quite a few different materials and could easily teach you how to hone your skills in from beginner to novice levels. No firing materials unless you have access to a kiln.

Hands on and detailed lecture. I talk fast, but I teach you to work fast as well. The hardest part of my lesson will be knowing when to put it down and call something finished. I love to laugh, be loud and have a great time. It's a joy to teach and I make sure it's a joy to learn as well.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Art Institute in 2004 with top honors and a nomination for Best Demo Reel. I taught for a semester in 2004 at the Institute and went on to teach privately the the next two years (tutor). I became a photoshop trainer at work and an Art Director of a million dollar graphic design firm by 2007. I have flown to Cape Town in South Africa and Canberra in Australia to teach crash course photoshop seminars- up to 8 people with no computer experience at all. I have lead a team of 15 in photo editing for a professional studio and still teach privately today.

A Little Bit About Me...

During the completion of my Bachelor's degree in Psychology I had the opportunity to work with the Maricopa College District, as well as the No Child Left Behind Program. While working with the Maricopa College District I assisted students that were enrolled in the ACE Adult Program. These students ranged in ages from 18 to 65 years old. Additionally, I worked with Martin Porres Educational Services and the No Child Left Behind Program. During my years of tutoring I have assisted students in Psychology, Statistics, math courses up to Calculus, basic science classes, reading, English, computer courses, and nursing courses (relating to mathematics).
Not only do I love to teach and help students learn, I also enjoy helping students develop an appreciation for learning in general. The most gratifying experience while teaching is the look on a student's face, after hours of confusion, a ... read more

A Little Bit About Me...

I obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology, I worked very hard to receive my B.A in a field I enjoyed learning. I also hold an Exceptional Student Education Certification K-12. I have experience with exceptional education and mainstream students. I contain many years of experience working individually with students to achieve their educational goals.
Work well with accomidating others in the different learning styles. Having a hard time explaining to teachers and professors about their teaching approach made me aware of the situation. I love to teach others how to long for self motivation. I believe that anyone can learn as much as they would like if they think positive and continue to focus.

It was my dream for years to work with children in the school setting. Their education is so important for them to be all they can be in life. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently enrolled in an Educator Preparation Institute to obtain my certification to teach. In the meantime, I am employed as a substitute teacher for Pasco County, and I previously volunteered for after school care tutoring programs for children between the ages of 6-18. I feel that I have a very positive attitude, and when I am dealing with children I try to remain clam and comical. I feel that if I can try to, no only, encourage the child to learn, but also to equate learning with a positive feeling/attitude then the process of learning will become that much more enjoyable.

I am a recent grad of Lawrence Tech and I have a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Design. I have had many math and advanced english courses throughout my collegiate career. I have tutored many children in reading, writing, computer literacy and grammar from 1st through 8th grade. A Little Bit About Me...

I began working with young children in a preschool setting while still in high school. As I entered college, I realized that this was my passion and I decided to major in Early Childhood Education. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2008 with a degree and teacher certification in Early Childhood Ed. During college our program required it's students to student teach for two years, so I did one year in a kindergarten class and one in a third grade class. Since graduation I've worked as a preschool teacher. Earlier this year I tutored a first grade student in reading. She was in danger of repeating first grade and with dedication and a little extra help, she was able to pass.
I am a flexible, yet firm teacher. I believe that all students learn in different ways, so I'm flexible with my teaching. I figure out what works best for each student and I build my lessons aro ... read more
