I studied post secondary in high school and graduated in the top ten of my class. I was on the deans list every year of my college career. I was a teachers aid at the University of Minnesota for three years in the anatomy department. I was a the lead embalmer for the University and worked for the Anatomy bequest program. I was licensed in mortuary science in 2007 and have been working as a funeral director and Retail manager for the past three years.

At SCSU, I work as a writing consultant at the Writing Center on campus. With students, I help to make them better writers by helping answer questions, presenting questions, working through the brainstorming and paper-writing process, and helping with formatting. As well, I have helped to coordinate our second satellite location, which entails working with people on their schedules, managing conflicts of schedule, and serving as a head of the second location. A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently received my Ph.D. in biochemistry from the laboratory of Prof. F. Peter Guengerich at Vanderbilt University. I am seeking a teaching position near my family in Minnesota. I was a chemistry tutor in college for two years and I have spent a great deal of time informally teaching in the laboratory in graduate school.
