My comments on tutoring Computer : I've been into all things web and technology since the early 2000's. I am Proficient with Windows (all versions) + Mac OS, as well as most Windows + Mac programs. Currently I run Windows 10 Home on my ultrabook (I started with windows 95.) - My typing speed is 35-40 WPM. I can teach you basic typing skills. - As a web developer, I use FTP programs to upload files to a server. My ultimate aim would be to teach the student how to successfully learn on his own. I would first determine the set of circumstances unique to each student. For example, are they far behind their class or just having problems grasping some concepts? I would modify my teaching style depending on the situation, but in general I identify facts that need to be memorized and concepts that need to be understood. We would work through material, in a textbook, for example. Finally the student must apply logic and related skills (algebra, for example) needed for problem solving. Problem solving ties facts and concepts together and brings a deeper comprehension of and familiarity with the subject.
