A Little Bit About Me...

While I attended Lee University, I was a teaching assistant for a year for a remedial college English class. I taught my own one-hour grammar labs twice a week, and I worked with students individually as well. I edited their papers and helped them with their grammar. My senior year I volunteered with a hispanic ESL class. I helped tutor the mothers in English. I am currently an online teaching assistant. I have always loved children. Children are precious and all have very unique learning techniques. When I was a senior at Maryville High School, I taught Spanish to first graders. My partner and I were in charge of making lesson plans and fulfilling these plans for each class. I really enjoyed seeing the children get excited about learning.
