Effective teaching requires goal-setting and patience on the parts of both the instructor and the student. We are a team! I am simply there to facilitate their education. Most of what I teach is enhanced by my approach to helping the student learn. I seek to ask them to "teach" me by offering questions to them. This has proven very effective once the foundational background is established. My commitment as I approach a teaching opportunity is my belief that students can learn anything for which they both plan and focus when they are encouraged to believe in their ability to succeed.
