I enjoy tutoring children with highly engaging activities !

I have been an AB student my whole life, and I was in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in high school. I consistently help my siblings with their homework (ages 5, 13, and 16), and have worked with after-school tutoring programs with friends. I began my experience teaching at a small school. I taught 7/8 grade general science, ninth grade earth and space science, and tenth grade biology. I worked at this school for two years, before relocating. I then worked with a tutoring service. I tutored elementary students in a private setting (in homes) in reading and math. I also taught seventh grade science at another small school.

I believe that one teaches by asking questions rather than by providing answers. Things learned by rote are easily forgotten.
