My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : Before becoming a Certified Public Librarian, I greatly enjoyed working with children of all ages with different abilities in several acclaimed summer recreation camps and art class settings. More recently, I have worked with ADD/ADHD children who need assistance in reading, support in concentration, and coordination in reaching goals.

I personally believe that all students are individuals in their learning styles and each student should be approached differently. I am lucky enough to work in a situation in which all of my students can receive 1-1 academic learning. I believe that a teacher should take the time to learn each of their students learning styles and work within those styles to help students achieve academic success.
