A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently working on my doctoral disseration and adjunct teaching at ITT tech, University of Phoenix and MCann Business school. I teach a variety of business courses as well as math and english classes. Having a Masters degree in Finance and Accounting has allowed me to have a strong background in Math as well as business. A Little Bit About Me...

Because of my experience in teaching my own children, I have discovered that no child is too young to learn. Often people will not consider an infant or toddler a "functioning human being" until the child can speak. This is so inaccurate! I taught one of my daughters to read at age four. My teaching style is to engage the student on a personal level through cheerful conversation and sharing of interests, then to assess learning styles, strengths, and challenges. Children perform well when expectations are complimentary to them, and when they are given the tools and nurture to accomplish their dreams.
