I have had much experience in teaching specifically in the areas of social studies, English, German, reading comprehension, and k-6 math. I also hold a degree in anthropology with a minor in sociology and am, therefore, very proficient in these areas as well. I rely heavily on Socratic questioning, to strengthen the students own thinking; my goal is for him/her to not need me. I use symbol and concept imagery language to ensure the student is not simply repeating, but seeing and understanding.
