**Fun, Creative Tutor Specializing in Math**

With a lot of subjects, especially math and science, students become discouraged because the content seems so useless. They are much more interested in their everyday lives than things like the Pythagorean Theorem. I try to break that barrier - to help students see how the things they learn in school can help them solve problems in the real world. I do this by making lessons creative, interesting and fun.

I received my BS in Mathematics and my MS in Industrial Mathematics from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. During my time as a graduate student, I was a teacher of College Algebra, Trigonometry, and of Calculus.
