I believe that all students regardless of race, ethnicity or socio-economic status, are deserving of a wholistic education. I have had a very large variety of teaching experiences. During my teaching practicums at Indiana State University, I was able to teach a number of subjects. I taught in the areas of science, math, social studies, and English. I was able to teach math and social studies to a gifted and talented 2nd grade classroom. I was able to assist in all areas in a mild to moderately disabled classroom. I was able to teach English at the high school level to mild to moderately disabled students. I was able to teach science to 1st and 6th grade students. I was able to work as a reading specialist to students grades K-1st. As a college graduate from a private, liberal arts institution, I was very much driven to achieve high levels of excellence in many areas of the world of education. I have earned a Bachelors degree in finance, which has enabled me to have a great understanding of many areas of math and business.
