My experience working with children is in the area of those with mental health issues, most of which have learning disabilities as well. I love my work and I love children. I believe that most children have to experience learning through many facets; hearing, touching, seeing and discovery. My name is Nicole Koerner and I'm a native speaker of Germany. I was born and raised in Germany. I received a B.A in German Studies/ Communication & Culture from Kutztown University,PA in May 2009. During the past few years,I've been tutoring German to children in High School. While a student at Luzerne County Community College, I was recommended to be a tutor by mathematics professor David Wasilewski. I tutored college students primarily in the fundamentals of algebra and English composition. In 2005, I was awarded the Student Support Service Award for tutoring. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from King's College and went on to earn a Juris Doctor. In addition to social science courses, I have completed extensive general education courses throughout my college career.
